OFFICIAL RULES

Participants in the lottery to win a chance to purchase the YODA™ FOUNTAIN STATUE (hereinafter referred to as “event”) understand and agree to abide by OFFICIAL RULES (hereinafter referred to as “rules”).

 

1.Organizer and Sponsor:

  • Kotobukiya Co., Ltd.

The event is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by the Disney Entities (defined as Disney Consumer Products, Inc., Lucasfilm Ltd. LLC, The Walt Disney Company, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliate, and successor companies and divisions).

 

2.Applicable Product:

  • YODA™ FOUNTAIN STATUE ($269.99 excluding tax)

The right to purchase the above product (one statue per day) will be determined through a lottery each day.

 

3.Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be 15 or older to participate in the event. Parent or guardian permission is required for those under the age of 18.
  • Must be a participant of Star Wars Celebration ANAHEIM 2022.
  • Must understand and agree to abide by the rules of the event.
  • Employees of the Disney Entities are not eligible to participate or win the chance to purchase the product.

 

4.Time and Location of the Lottery Drawing

  • The event will be held at the Kotobukiya booth (Booth #1408) at the Anaheim Convention Center each day during the period of Star Wars Celebration ANAHEIM 2022.

 

5.How to Participate

  •  On each day of the lottery, participants must take a lottery ticket passed out from the booth from 10 a.m. on the same day.

–   The distribution of lottery tickets will end when the predetermined allotted number has been reached.
–   Lottery tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of one ticket per person.

  • Lottery tickets are valid only for the day of distribution. They cannot be carried over to the next day or later.
  • Lottery tickets will not be reissued for any reason.
  • The distribution of lottery tickets may be temporarily suspended at the discretion of the event organizer due to booth congestion or other reasons. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in alleviating crowding at the booth.

 

6.Method of Notification of Winners

  • Lottery results will be posted at the booth at 1:00 p.m. each day.
  • The booth is expected to be crowded immediately before and after the lottery results are posted.

Participants are requested to cooperate in alleviating crowding at the booth by spacing out the time when they visit the booth to check results.

  • Winners are requested to stop by the booth by 6:30 p.m. the same day (4:30 p.m. on the last day only) to purchase the applicable product. If you do not purchase the product by 6:30pm (4:30pm on the final day only), your right to purchase will be forfeited.

–   If the applicable product is not purchased by the winner by the end of the day, the drawing will be held again on the following day. (e.g., if a winner does not pick up the product on the first day, there will be two winners on the second day.)
–   The applicable product will not be available for regular purchase, even if the winner on the final day does not purchase the product.

 

7.Important Notes

  • The event is not open to those who are under the targeted age range (15 and above) of the applicable product.
  • Users must read the warnings on the applicable product before use.
  • If the winner of the lottery does not purchase the applicable product on the day of the event, the right to purchase will be forfeited. The process from the announcement of results to the purchase of the product must be completed within that same day. Under no circumstances will the right to purchase the product be guaranteed for the following day. Under no circumstances will lottery tickets be set aside for any individual for the following day.
  • The lottery method and its progress will be kept confidential by the event organizers.
  • No inquiries regarding the lottery results will be accepted.
  • Returns of the applicable product by the winner after its purchase will not be accepted for any reason. However, this does not apply to returns of products that were originally damaged or otherwise damaged due to circumstances beyond the winner’s control. In such cases, the winner may exchange the product for a replacement.
  • Winners are not permitted to resell the product that has been purchased.
  • Participants may not transfer the lottery ticket to a third party or transfer the winning right to a third party, regardless of whether it is paid or free of charge.
  • Please follow the instructions of booth staff when lottery tickets are being distributed and when results of the lottery are being announced. Failure to do so may result in denial of participation in the event.
  • By participating in this event, participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Disney Entities and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability whatsoever for any damages, loss, injuries, or death, however occurring, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, caused by participation in this event or in connection with purchase, acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the product offered for sale pursuant to this event.
  • All rules are subject to change without prior notice at the discretion of the event organizer and depending on the situation on the day of the event.
  • By participating in this event, participants agree that they understand and will abide by these rules.
